Overview:
Super Mario Kart is the first game of the Mario Kart series. It was released on the Super Nintendo, in its early years. It is an instant classic, and is considered to be the best Mario Kart game to many fans. It was the first go-karting game that appeared on the Super Nintendo.

Super Mario Kart is a unique game, and as well as racing you could pick up items and weapons, to help you get into a better position. There are many kart-racers that try to copy off the originality of Super Mario Kart such as Diddy Kong Racing, Konami Racers... etc... Super Mario Kart features the classical characters from the Super Mario series. Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Toadstool, Donkey Kong Jr., Koopa Troopa and Yoshi!

The multiplayer is classic. In an arena, you would have three balloons. You would collect different weapons from items from the "?" marks on the floor, and then use them to hit your opponent. It would pop a balloon. When all are out you lose.

Super Mario Kart, has two screens. A screen at the bottom, showing the race, and another screen at the bottom showing a map. This is how the Mario Kart DS game works. Super Mario Kart's originality and appeal got many fans outside of Nintendo interested. It is also, the best Mario Kart seller up to date!
